Meet the Team, Maddie Snorek

The RealtyAds team is full of talented, dynamic members across all departments. These individuals play a crucial role in connecting our product with clients, and we believe it’s essential to familiarize yourself with the team that supports you and your company.

Maddie joined RealtyAds in 2023 as a Jr. Graphic Designer and has since grown into her current role on the design team, where she creates visual content that supports marketing strategies and drives brand consistency. With a lifelong passion for creative expression, Maddie brings a thoughtful, design-driven approach to every project she touches. Her expertise in visual storytelling and brand execution ensures RealtyAds’ materials resonate with audiences and achieve our clients’ objectives.

You joined RealtyAds in 2023. What have been some of your biggest takeaways since joining the team?

My biggest takeaways are learning not to be afraid to lean on your team and understanding your own strengths so you can use them effectively. Everyone is genuinely invested in each other’s success. In a startup environment, adaptability is key, and learning to stay calm, positive, and flexible has been invaluable.

What do you enjoy most about working on the RealtyAds design team?

I love how close-knit our design team is. That camaraderie allows us to collaborate effectively, perform at our best, and operate with mutual respect and honesty.

How do you approach developing visuals that align with both our brand standards and broader business goals?

When we develop visuals, we start by understanding the brand, then approach each project based on the audience and purpose. For client work, we follow their guidelines to showcase properties and capture attention. For our own socials, we collaborate with marketing to create on-brand visuals that drive interaction, build awareness, and highlight our expertise in CRE.

What’s been one of your favorite projects to work on so far?

I’ve really enjoyed working on the merch for our Nashville offsite, as well as our website updates. Both were opportunities to flex creativity while supporting larger company initiatives.

What’s one design challenge you’ve learned the most from?

One challenge I’ve learned a lot from is adapting to new tools and technologies. It can be tricky at first, but it’s also exciting and rewarding because it enables me to create stronger visuals, work more efficiently, and bring fresh ideas to both client and social projects.

What’s one skill or area of design you’re hoping to continue developing?

I’m focused on further developing my skills in motion and video design, including animation and UI UX, to create more dynamic and engaging content for both client and social projects.

Do you have any favorite restaurants or hidden gems in Chicago?

When it’s warm, I love Waterfront Beach Cafe for a relaxed lakeside vibe with live music, and I also enjoy exploring Montrose Bird Sanctuary and the Chicago Botanic Garden. For food, Flub a Dub Chubs in Lakeview has the best hot dog, and up in Andersonville, I enjoy everything from Lost Larson Bakery, Andale Market, Little Bad Wolf, Andersonville Galleria, and so much more!
